Juan Astica

Born in Santiago de Chile in 1953, Juan Astica began his studies at an early age with painter Rodolfo Opazo and later continued in Buenos Aires at the School of Arts Manuel Belgrano. He is currently a professor at the Instituto Universitario Nacional e Arte –IUNA. Astica won the Second Prize Municipal Art of Buenos Aires and First Prize Drawing in Ferrol, Spain. He has exhibited in many galleries, museums and cultural centers in Argentina, United States and Europe.

Astica is currently preparing for an exhibition next year at the Centro Cultural Recoleta in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
