Eat, Pray, Love – How To Embark On Your Personal Journey In Style

Eat, Pray, Love Travel

With the release of Eat, Pray, Love this friday and my upcoming journey to the Peruvian Andes to work with the artisans on our wonderful baby alpaca products, I decided to share my 5 “Travel Must-Haves” with my favorite readers.  Here’s the list:

1.  100% Baby Alpaca Houndstooth Throw – I was inspired to develop this throw with the weavers in Peru because I could never find the right sized throw.  They were either too narrow or too big.  I make sure to have one of these to avoid having to use the scratchy ones on the plane.

2.  Rugged Leather Tote Bag – I needed a bag that could hold everything to board my flight so I had this tote bag custom made while living in South America.  Roomy enough to fit all of these items, its also lined and there’s a roomy pocket for passport, cell phone and keys.

3.  Sigg Wide Mouth Taj Mahal 1 Liter Water Bottle – The worst thing when travelling whether you’re on a plane, train or in a car is to not have water on hand.  I go one step further and ask the flight attendant to fill my water bottle before take-off.  That way I’m hydrated and ready to rock as soon as I’m on the ground.

4.  Thieves® Essential Oil from Young Living – This wonderful essential oil keeps me germ free during my trip.  Available in a number of different formats including sprays, gums, and more I have to say I have never gotten sick on a trip because I use Thieves.  A tidbit:  Thieves was created based on research about four thieves in France who covered themselves with cloves, rosemary, and other aromatics while robbing plague victims.

5. Tempur-Pedic Sleep Mask – Sleep is important on a flight, so I make sure to always have one of these in my bag.  This fantastic sleep mask is filled with pressure-relieving TEMPUR material, conforming exactly to the shape of your face to eliminate any light that can disturb your sleep.

Bon Voyage!
